what is a zentangle?

"A Zentangle is a miniature abstract work of art" (Krahula) made from designated Zentangle patterns—usually repetitive patterns that involve only a few types of strokes. Zentangling is a form of art meditation, and is similar to a mandala. Interestingly, many of the Zentangle patterns involve mathematical principles. I will explore some of those here! The three patterns that I am analyzing mathematically are: Tipple, Rick's Paradox, and Cubine.
